We're looking for a driven and passionate Android Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our award-winning mobile app. About the Role We're seeking an experienced Android Software Engineer to lead the improvement of in-depth mobile initiatives surrounding upper-funnel capability such as homepage, income, class, authentication, and landing stories. The ideal candidate will have a validated track record of managing stakeholders and outside partners, and will leverage their breadth of knowledge in local app improvement to steer and develop a multi-disciplinary engineering group. As an Android Software Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for architecting and developing new features, software protection and refactoring, and accelerated performance and automation. Key Responsibilities Lead improvement for in-depth mobile initiatives surrounding upper-funnel capability such as homepage, income, class, authentication, and landing stories Architect and develop new features, software protection and refactoring, and accelerated performance and automation Review code and offer guidance for different builders participating in our launch approval system Use statistics and metrics to collaboratively force impactful adjustments Frequently interface and engage with first-rate, UX, lower back-stop/API, product, analytics, and other teams Collaborate with iOS and full-stack teams to ensure answers are robust and aligned Lead by example; share information, experience, and excellent practices through mentoring, tech talks, and shows Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: At least 2+ years of expert Android improvement on publicly available apps A passion for writing clean, readable, and carefully examined code, and an eagerness to share your understanding with others A mastery of Android basics, interacting with endpoints, debugging, and memory control Experience having architected or designed complex features with product managers or other stakeholders A deep understanding of structure patterns including MVP, MVVM, Clean/VIPER, and so forth, as well as a sync patterns A ability to study new libraries and technologies, live on the cutting fringe of the evolving mobile landscape and a fervor to create reports so that it will pride users A real belief that positive and respectful code evaluations are the bedrock of a healthy crew Expertise of material design, Android UI/UX development, and first-class practices Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Graphlet Ruby or similar scripting languages Running go-platform with iOS and/or complete-stack Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
