About the Team: Data Ventures Data Ventures is a pioneering team within Walmart Global Tech that's dedicated to developing and productizing B2B data initiatives. We're seeking entrepreneurial individuals who can drive data productization from concept to deployment. As a Front End Software Engineer III, you'll play a crucial role in translating requirements into technical solutions that create the best user experience for our customers. Key Responsibilities Design and develop user-facing features with maintainability, reusability, and scalability in mind, ensuring seamless customer experiences. Collaborate with project teams and cross-functional teams to deliver value, troubleshoot open issues, and ensure on-time delivery and hand-offs. Provide technical expertise and guidance to product owners, designers, and other engineers to drive project success. Ensure code quality through rigorous code reviews, adhering to best practices, and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies. Troubleshoot business and production issues, performing root cause analysis, and driving the development of action plans to resolve issues. Participate in the discovery phase of small to medium-sized projects, partnering with product management, project management, business, and user experience teams to produce high-level designs. Demonstrate expertise and apply it to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans, providing expert advice and guidance to others. Build relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, identifying business needs, and determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: High-level proficiency in using JavaScript, Typescript, AngularJS, HTML, and CSS/SASS to build modern web experiences. Experience with Observables and RxJS, ensuring efficient data handling and manipulation. A general understanding of the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment. Experience consuming, building, and deploying APIs and applications, with a focus on scalability and reliability. Knowledge of Cloud technologies (GCP or Azure), SQL, Mongo DB, and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with backend technologies like C# and Java. A disciplined approach to development, code review, testing, documentation, and code structure in a team environment. A passion for adopting the latest features in technologies and a constant desire to improve and learn. Ability to lead technical relationships with partners and mentor a team of developers. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge: Experience with Figma, a cutting-edge design tool. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. A background in creating inclusive digital experiences, with knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies. A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
