Job Overview We're seeking an experienced Front End Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at blithequark. As a Front End Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting complex software programs for enhancements and new products. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, leveraging your technical expertise to drive projects forward and deliver high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot complex software programs for enhancements and new products, working through the full development life cycle. Plan and lead system software tests, requiring connectivity and software testing, to ensure seamless integration and functionality. Report on various software programs using flowcharts, observations, and charts to guarantee that all clients have a comprehensive understanding throughout the development cycle. Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, working with client stories and acceptance criteria to deliver high-quality solutions. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science or Software Engineering. Experience building end-to-end solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Proficiency with source control tools like Git, as well as data utilization using ADO. Strong understanding of front-end technologies like JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML. Experience with React tools, including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Transition. Knowledge of cloud computing principles and practices, with experience deploying applications in cloud environments. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experience can be a significant advantage: Experience with backend development using Java or Springboot. Proficiency in writing production code for web applications. Understanding of frontend frameworks like Storybook for building UI components and pages in isolation. Knowledge of key programming concepts, such as memory management, optimization techniques, API design, social planning systems, and distributed applications. Experience with CI/CD tools like ADO, Jira, Jenkins, and GitHub. Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions.
