Day in the Life: Front End Pharmacy Technician
As a Front End Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a critical role in our closed-door pharmacy operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions
Assisting in reviewing narcotic prescriptions in a timely manner
Providing dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies, drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items flagged by our systems
Creating and maintaining accurate customer records
You'll work closely with our pharmacists and other team members to ensure accuracy and provide best-in-class customer service. If you're detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about delivering exceptional care, this role is for you.

What You Bring: Required Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
Certification, licensure, or registration as a pharmacy technician (or as required by state law)
One or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician
A verifiable High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following skills and experience can give you a competitive edge:
Prior experience in the long-term care industry
PTCB National Certification
Compensation and Benefits
The typical pay range for this role is $30.00 - $60.00 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
