Job Summary As a Front End Lead - Part Time, you'll oversee the frontline team in the absence of the Front End Manager, coaching and developing team members to deliver exceptional member service. You'll drive membership metrics, ensure a positive and safe environment for team members and members, and model leadership competencies that promote business growth and engagement. Key Responsibilities: Supervise the frontline team, including cashiers, SCO, and membership desk, in the absence of the Front End Manager Model and provide excellent member service, while coaching and developing team members to do the same Drive membership metrics through acquisition, retention, loyalty, and experience programs Train, coach, and motivate frontline team members to achieve member engagement, service, and membership metrics Utilize performance management tools, such as Cashier Observation Forms and membership metrics reports, to drive performance and member engagement Perform front-end responsibilities, including closing through POS, and member escalated service issues Act as a backup for cashiers and Membership Sales Ambassadors when needed Manage self-checkout lanes and scan and pan lanes Assist members with operations and technical difficulties Collect payments and issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to members Stay up-to-date on merchandise promotions, advertisements, and product information Supervise the cleanliness of the front of club member servicing areas Leadership and Team Development As a Front End Lead - Part Time, you'll be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team. This includes: Teaching, coaching, and leading through the club level training process Supporting team member engagement and enabling the application of policies, procedures, and compliance Driving a culture of development, strategic thinking, and acting, ethical decision-making, and engagement Leading with the team member and member in mind to address any concerns and escalate issues as needed Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: Prior leadership experience (preferred) Prior membership or sales knowledge and experience (preferred) Prior cashier experience (preferred) Basic math skills Ability to navigate within system applications Utilize online task management system (MyWork) to manage workflow, track, and monitor daily club operations Work Environment and Culture At BJ's Wholesale Club, we're committed to creating a workplace that's inclusive, respectful, and safe.
