Job Overview We're seeking a seasoned Freelance UI/UX Engineer to design user interfaces and experiences for complex software development projects. As a freelancer under our Master Service Agreement (MSA), you'll play a critical role in the bid defense process, helping to present design concepts that elevate the overall solution's appeal to clients. Your expertise will be invaluable in translating complex requirements into user-centered designs that delight and engage. Key Responsibilities Design Excellence : Lead the end-to-end design process for web and mobile applications, prioritizing user experience in all design decisions. Your designs must meet functional requirements while promoting engagement and delighting users. Bid Defense Contributions : Collaborate with sales and technical teams to develop visual prototypes, wireframes, and mockups that clearly convey the UI/UX vision during bid defense presentations. Effectively communicate how your design solutions align with client goals and address their pain points. User Research & Testing : Conduct user research, gather insights, and perform usability testing to ensure designs meet end-user needs. Adapt designs based on feedback to continually improve the user experience. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with solution architects, developers, and project managers to ensure designs are feasible, implementable, and aligned with project timelines and budgets. Prototyping & Interaction Design : Create high-fidelity prototypes and interaction models using industry-standard tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. Requirements Essential Qualifications Extensive Experience in Software UI/UX Design : A minimum of 7-10 years of experience designing user interfaces for enterprise-level software solutions, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex web and mobile application projects. Technical Expertise : Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on design. Strong understanding of responsive design principles, accessibility standards, and cross-platform compatibility.
