Key Responsibilities
Participate in designing, coding, and program testing for in-house software solutions, ensuring high-quality and performance.
Assist in troubleshooting and debugging code for existing codebase, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
Take ownership of conducting end-user training programs after software delivery, ensuring seamless adoption and utilization.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, responding quickly to tech support requests and prioritizing tasks effectively.
Collaborate with other teams to implement systems in the production environment, ensuring smooth integration and minimal downtime.
Identify issues and concerns, reporting them immediately to the IT manager and proposing solutions.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation as per company standards, ensuring compliance and facilitating knowledge sharing.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed as a freelance coding expert with Workwarp, you'll need:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in software programming, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and accomplishments (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers).
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, C++, C#, SQL server database, etc.
Excellent knowledge of developing web applications using at least one popular web framework, including JSF, Wicket, GWT, and Spring MVC.
Advanced understanding of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify minor errors or code inconsistencies.
A proactive attitude for troubleshooting bugs and issues in the system.
Fluent English communication skills.
Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4-hour overlap with U.S. time zones.
