As a Flight Attendant Manager, you'll play a critical role in leading our Inflight team, driving business results, and fostering a culture of inclusion and recognition. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to Inflight base employees, including mentoring, developing, and engaging team members Monitor and evaluate Flight Attendant performance, ensuring adherence to work rules and Company policies Serve as the primary point of contact for Flight Attendants at assigned stations, providing support and answering questions related to the Flight Attendant role Conduct i360/Airline Steward Boarding Performance appraisals and visits to interact with Leaders and Employees in assigned Southwest served cities Ensure compliance with all work rules and regulations, including attendance at required Administration training sessions Develop and implement recognition and reward programs to motivate and engage Flight Attendants Maintain accurate records and perform data entry for Flight Attendant personnel files May perform other job duties as directed by Supervisor or Manager Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required At least 18 years old U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available) Ability to perform job duties in a limited space work station/office area for extended periods Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English Proficiency in using a PC and other office productivity tools Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a leadership role, preferably in the airline industry Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements and labor laws Experience with performance management, coaching, and development Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Skills and Competencies Strong leadership and management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to analyze problems and develop creative solutions Knowledge of airline operations, safety regulations, and customer service standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks Benefits and Perks At Southwest Airlines, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: $35/hour competitive salary Fly for free on any open seat on Southwest flights, including qualified dependents Potential for annual ProfitSharing contribution toward retirement Opportunities for career growth and professional development Diverse and inclusive work environment Why Join Our Team?
