**What You'll Do**
As a Fleet Engineer with arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Keeping informed of day-to-day airline operations involving your field of responsibility
* Assessing daily priorities in accordance with airline/departmental objectives and management directives
* Investigating aircraft/component problems that may cause delays or cancellations, substantial expenditures in manpower or materials, or interruptions in maintenance operations, and determining appropriate corrective actions
* Providing engineering support as required for disposition of discrepant conditions affecting aircraft or components in order to restore serviceable status
* Responding to requests from Maintenance and other airline departments when technical assistance is required to support projects or resolve problems
* Developing action plans for fleet/multi-fleet and/or component engineering projects and pursuing final dispositions according to assessed priorities
* Coordinating with other airline departments, as required, to provide for effective and efficient implementation of engineering dispositions
* Preparing engineering documents to implement technical dispositions by providing customized procedures for repairs, modifications, inspections, or other maintenance actions that provide benefits in accordance with airline/departmental objectives and management directives
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering, or a related field
* Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
* 10+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering, or a related field
* Experience with project management and coordination
* Knowledge of aircraft maintenance software and systems
* Experience with data analysis and reporting
