Our Flexologists are trained to deliver world-class stretching sessions, tailored to each client's needs and goals.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions to clients, ensuring a safe and effective experience
Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions, promoting a positive and supportive environment
Promote the StretchLab experience and retain current clientele through excellent customer service and communication
Ensure safety of clients by utilizing proper stretching techniques and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and best practices
Clean and maintain stretch benches and equipment, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and organization
Essential Qualifications
To succeed as a Flexologist at StretchLab, you'll need:
A passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility, and a love for working in a boutique fitness environment
Experience working in a fitness or health environment, providing hands-on training to clients
A fitness certification (e.g. personal training, yoga, Pilates) or an undergraduate degree in a related field (e.g. kinesiology, exercise science, sports medicine)
Excellent communication skills and the ability to create a positive and welcoming environment for clients
A professional work ethic, reliability, and adherence to our attendance policies
Availability to complete our Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 2 days of in-person/hands-on training
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
Previous experience in a related field, such as physical therapy, chiropractic medicine, or massage therapy
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and the ability to apply this knowledge to stretching and mobility techniques
Experience working with a diverse range of clients, including varying ages, abilities, and fitness levels
