About the Role This position will be part of our partner association within the Financial Planning Systems space. The ideal candidate will have a mixed background of finance and IT experience. As a Senior Analyst, Financial Planning Systems, you will be responsible for supporting and developing Financial Systems applications, as they apply to the Finance organization, as well as acting as an internal consultant to those groups to identify automation opportunities and develop/provide suitable solutions. Key Responsibilities Support the Hyperion planning application, consistently, for forecast and actual financials Validate the data from Hyperion Financial Management and from regulators Investigate and resolve issues with data, including divisional roll-ups and intercompany transactions Support system maintenance; maintain user permissions Support clients with system issues, existing reports, forms, and models Assist with preparation of in-depth situations and analytical results analyses on various complex financial issues and competitive industry analyses Coordinate and complete monthly headcount process regarding Hyperion Update Hyperion Planning with organizational changes; coordinate hierarchical system changes with Regulators and GL organization Communicate with work groups to determine reporting business requirements; propose and present efficient solutions Create Essbase cubes, Planning Applications, Reports, as well as forecasting and planning models for Finance divisions Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Information Systems, or equivalent experience/training 2 years of work experience in a Finance role, including experience with financial statements, as well as financial modeling and analysis Solid IT foundation, including experience with Oracle and multi-dimensional and relational database structures Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience using Hyperion, as well as development and implementation experience (including Business Intelligence, Essbase, Planning) Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need: Ability to adapt and be flexible in the use of analytical methodologies related to financial issues Ability to issue solve, module, and analyze data Meticulous with focus on accuracy and ability to prioritize tasks Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and so on Strong communication skills Excellent collaboration skills with proven ability to work effectively in diverse situations What We Offer At arenaflex, we offer a comprehensive range of benefits, including: Medical benefits: From the start, you'll have access to your health, dental, prescription, and vision benefits to help you stay well Wellness Programs: We want you to be your best self - that's why our wellness programs provide you with the right tools, resources, and support you need 401(k) Program: Available upon hire and, depending on the workgroup, employer contributions to your 401(k) program are available after one year Additional Benefits: Other great benefits include our Employee Assistance Program, pet insurance, and discounts on hotels, cars, cruises, and more Diversity and Inclusion at arenaflex From the teammates we hire to the customers we serve, inclusion and diversity are the foundation of the powerful workforce at arenaflex.
