That's why we're committed to providing our employees with the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed and grow. **About arenaflex's Global Merchant and Network Services (GM&NS) Estimating Team** Our GM&NS Estimating team is responsible for driving the single largest source of arenaflex's revenue: Merchant Discount Income. We work closely with our colleagues to determine the optimal pricing that enables merchant acceptance of arenaflex while improving inclusion and merchant satisfaction. Our goal is to drive GMS income and profit growth through client-driven pricing standards, more flexible pricing engineering, and innovative pricing solutions. **The Financial Analyst of Planning and Analysis – Canada** We're seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for determining and reporting merchant discount income. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our business by aligning our objective for profitable charge volume and merchant growth, which is critical to the strength of our organization. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop a Canada figure for merchant discount income and track monthly performance against forecast and identify drivers of change * Create vendor discount income scorecards for the Canada region * Drive standardization and process improvement among the various local pricing teams for all reporting and determining related activities * Support external reviews, including investigating issues found, reaching out to the regional pricing teams that manage the merchant relationship to discuss issues, and managing goals * Perform ad-hoc data analysis to assess rebate rate trends and uncover insights **Essential Qualifications:** * 2+ years of experience in financial services or payments industry, and/or other finance-related roles * Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in finance/Accounting/Business preferred * High proficiency in Excel is required * Strong attention to detail and organization * Strong analytical skills; demonstrated ability to develop complex financial models and draw value-added insights from large financial datasets * Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., SAS/SQL) is required * Excellent communication skills – both written and oral * Strong relationship with management and collaboration skills with the ability to influence others in situations where there may be multiple objectives * Strong work ethic with an extreme will-to-win, ability to succeed in a high-speed, dynamic team environment, which places a premium on driving results * An innovative thinker who will challenge conventional approaches to getting things done and develop new ways to tackle old challenges * Strong project management skills with full ownership from analysis through to execution * Enthusiastic focus on the client; demonstrated willingness to understand and address client needs and pain points * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requests and priorities as needed **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) * Knowledge of arenaflex's products and services * Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and outside the box * Experience with data mining and predictive analytics **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary range of $25-$35/hour * Opportunity to work with a global organization that values innovation, collaboration, and customer satisfaction * Collaborative and dynamic work environment with a strong focus on teamwork and professional development * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance * Generous paid time off and holidays * Opportunities for career growth and advancement in a rapidly evolving industry * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance and contributions to the organization **How to Apply:** If you're a motivated and results-driven individual who is passionate about making a difference in the world, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
