Job Summary
The Field Training Manager will support restaurant operations leaders in driving culture, guest experiences, and execution of training initiatives that support operational processes and procedures. This role develops skills and behaviors to harness training tactics and strategies to advance results in people, performance, and profit initiatives. As a Field Training Manager, you'll be responsible for leading activation rollouts, providing coaching and support to multi-restaurant leaders, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as brand standards.

Responsibilities

Support a culture of high performance and accountability: Embodies BWW values and delivers on the brand promise by fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
Evaluate performance and profits shortfalls: Analyzes performance and profits shortfalls to improve operations and the guest experience.
Achieve financial results: Achieves financial results equal to or better than the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
Provide coaching and support: Provides coaching, support, and development to multi-restaurant leaders (DMs, BCs, etc.) to uphold standards to meet business objectives and enhance guest and team member experience.
Identify trainers and high potentials: Identifies trainers and high potentials within the organization and develops a bench for openings and future growth.
Lead activation rollouts: Leads activation rollouts within designated regions to ensure a high level of understanding and preparation prior to launch.
Communicate and manage sessions: Communicates and manages aspects of scheduled sessions virtually and in certified training restaurants.
Provide behavior-based feedback: Provides and documents behavior-based feedback for learners, both positive and constructive, verbally and in writing, along with recommendations around performance.
Manage certification process: Leads and manages host certified training restaurant certification process and relationships partnering with local field teams and host franchisees to ensure consistent execution.
Champion profitability initiatives: Champions profitability initiatives and leads the certification process for National Certified Training Sports Bars and GO restaurants.
Lead the new sports bar opening process: Champions the training responsibility for the new sports bar opening process within their region.
Key player in the LEAD development process: Key player in the LEAD development process for all levels of the organization.
Maintain an excellent working knowledge: Maintains an excellent working knowledge and a high level of proficiency in the performance of all phases of operations.
Ensure compliance: Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, as well as brand standards.
Curate culture: Curates culture aligned with the organization's purpose and values, driving high levels of engagement and retention at all levels of the brand.
Communicate openly and honestly: Communicates openly and honestly with multi-restaurant leaders, DVPs, RVPs, DFOs, and all others about plans, progress, and opportunities.
Assess training practices and content: Provides recommendations and assesses the efficacy of current training practices and content.


Education and Experience Qualifications
We're looking for a highly experienced Field Training Manager with a strong background in restaurant management and training. The ideal candidate will have:

4-year degree or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience
Working knowledge of group setting learning delivery
Excellent oral and written communication
Strong drive for results, attention to quality and details, analytical problem-solving skills
Four years of restaurant management experience with two years at/above the District Manager level REQUIRED
