About the Role: Executive Assistant to the VP, Global Merchant and Network Pricing

We're seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support our Global Merchant and Network Pricing (GMNP) team, a critical component of American Express' revenue generation. As a key member of this team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our senior leadership's schedules, travel arrangements, and day-to-day activities. Key Responsibilities


Coordinate, confirm, and proactively manage complex schedules, travel arrangements, and related logistics for senior leaders.
Handle a high volume of calls, emails, and messages, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines.
Arrange international and domestic travel, including flights, hotels, and ground transportation, and coordinate necessary documentation, such as visas and identification.
Perform various administrative tasks, including preparing correspondence, maintaining records, researching information, and filing documents.
Prepare travel and expense reports in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Exercise discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
Create and disseminate internal communications, including executive updates, meeting materials, and other relevant information.
Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.


Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:


Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively, meeting tight deadlines and prioritizing tasks with ease.
Self-starter with excellent initiative and prioritization skills, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and interact with people at all levels of the organization.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills, with the ability to remain composed under pressure.
Demonstrated personal excellence and a strong work ethic, with a commitment to achieving exceptional results.
Proficiency in using American Express systems and processes is desirable, although not essential.


Proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable, and bilingual candidates will be given preference.
