Job Overview
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the setup, striking, and monitoring of all equipment specified by the client for every event held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex. As a key member of the Event Changeover Support team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of various events, including soccer, volleyball, wrestling, cheerleading, baseball, and more. Key Responsibilities

Collect, set, and strike equipment for games at ESPN Wide World of Sports
Ensure all planned and spontaneous equipment needs are met
Ensure all equipment is handled, installed, struck, packaged for transport, and all playing surfaces are protected
Provide exceptional support to ensure the success of events
Collaborate with the Recruiting Leader and other team members to achieve common goals


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

Ability to obtain Forklift (PIT) certification
Knowledge of a guest/client-centered, event-driven business
Strong organizational and time management skills
A strong commitment and understanding of the importance of both cast and guest safety
Ability to use hand tools
Ability to lift 75 pounds
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and complete work with minimal direction
A willingness to learn and be flexible, with the ability to adapt to changing conditions
Full availability to work, including overtime, weekends, holidays, and third shift
A valid US Driver's License


Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:

Previous experience in event management or a related field
Knowledge of sports equipment and event setup
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
