Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Entry-Level Welder – Fabrication and Installation Specialist to join our team in Woodinville, Washington. As a key member of our fabrication team, you'll play a vital role in interpreting plans, cutting, assembling, and modifying parts, as well as participating in installation, prototyping, and sampling. Responsibilities
Interpret plans, cut, assemble, and modify parts to meet project requirements.
Participate in installation, prototyping, and sampling to ensure high-quality results.
Maintain and update skills and knowledge in all areas of fabrication, including welding techniques and materials.
Ensure the road box is stocked with necessary tools and first aid supplies to support safe and efficient operations.
Support the safe and secure packing of products for installation, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential skills and qualifications:
Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
Experience with welding materials such as stainless steel and aluminum.
Possession of a Welding Certificate or equivalent qualification.
Ability to clearly communicate in English verbally, over the phone, and through email.
Broad understanding of fabrication procedures, including painting and finishing.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and basic shop math skills (decimals, fractions, equations).
Experience working from shop drawings and verbal instructions.
Additional Skills and Qualifications
While not essential, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable:
Experience with maintaining and creating aesthetic qualities of a high-end finish.
Ability to work with metric measurements.
One to three years of previous experience in custom fabrication.
