As a data analyst, you will be responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders to design and develop reporting solutions, analytic research, and packages to meet business needs. You will work closely with our team to develop and execute complex queries, develop and validate reports, and present findings to internal clients and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with internal stakeholders and teams to design and develop reporting solutions, analytic research, and packages to meet business needs. Develop, validate, and execute complex queries, develop and validate reports, and perform complex data analysis to answer business questions for internal clients. Design and develop packages for internal clients. Evaluate data needs of assigned projects, assure data integrity and suitability, and determine data collection methods, metrics definitions, and assessment methods. Transform data into actionable insights through reporting solutions. Troubleshoot technical issues. Present findings and recommendations to internal clients and stakeholders. Required Qualifications We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications: 2-4+ years of experience in most of the following areas: Experience with Microsoft Access (manipulating forms, tables, queries, etc.), Excel, Visual Basic for Applications. Experience with reporting platforms – SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS). Development programming languages/knowledge/experience – ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript. Development database languages/knowledge/experience – Transact SQL. Database knowledge/experience – MS SQL Server. Preferred Qualifications We also prefer candidates with the following qualifications: Experience with reporting platforms – WEBI (SAP BI Launchpad). Knowledge of Aetna systems, databases, and underlying data structures (e.g., ACAS, HMO, HRP, etc.). Database knowledge/experience – Hadoop, Oracle. Development database languages/knowledge/experience – Oracle PLSQL. Crystal Reporting experience preferred. Required Education We require a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or an equivalent related field.
