About the Role As an experienced entry-level data analyst, you will be responsible for: Collaborating with internal partners and agencies to design and develop reporting solutions, analytic research, and packages to meet business needs. Developing, validating, and executing complex queries, developing complex reports, and performing complex data analysis to answer business questions for internal clients; translating results, and making recommendations to business areas based on findings. Designing and developing packages for internal clients. Evaluating data needs of assigned projects, ensuring data integrity and suitability, and determining data series methods, metrics definitions, and assessment methods. Transforming data into actionable insights through reporting solutions. Troubleshooting technical issues. Presenting analysis and reports to internal clients and stakeholders. Required Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 2-4 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Experience with Microsoft Access (manipulating forms, tables, queries, etc.), Excel, Visual Basic for Applications. Experience with reporting platforms, such as SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS). Development programming languages, such as ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript. Development database languages, such as Transact SQL. Database knowledge, such as MS SQL Server. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with reporting platforms, such as WEBI (SAP BI Launchpad). Knowledge of Aetna systems, databases, and underlying data structures (e.g., ACAS, HMO, HRP, etc.). Database knowledge, such as Hadoop, Oracle. Development database languages, such as Oracle PLSQL. Crystal Reporting experience is preferred. Required Education A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
