You'll work closely with our technology team to develop and maintain data-driven solutions, ensuring that our business needs are met and our data storage facilities are optimized. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and develop your skills in data analysis, visualization, and storytelling. **Key Responsibilities** As an Entry-Level Data Analyst, your key responsibilities will include: * **Data Analysis and Reporting**: Create new, modify existing, and execute ad-hoc reporting in support of business procedures and data-driven decision making. Develop relevant dashboards on Power BI and Excel to provide insights and visualizations. * **Data Quality and Governance**: Establish and maintain robust data quality specifications and controls to ensure data integrity and accessibility. * **Data Pipelines and Warehousing**: Handle and produce new data pipelines from source devices to the Data Warehouse, ensuring seamless data flow and storage. * **Collaboration and Communication**: Work closely with Monitoring and Business Analysts to identify business requirements, maintain complete documentation, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting needs. * **Data Visualization and Storytelling**: Utilize data narration principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI, driving business insights and decision making. * **Process Automation and Improvement**: Aid in automating existing business processes and enhancing exception-based reporting. * **Data Exploration and Research**: Collaborate with IT and BA's to investigate, research, and acquire new data variables (data exploration). * **Data Analysis and Insights**: Analyze large datasets to identify meaningful patterns and provide actionable recommendations. * **Data Validation and Remediation**: Evaluate data for accuracy and completeness, resolving discrepancies and errors. **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * **2+ years of experience** in in-depth data analysis and evaluation. * **Solid experience** working with Power BI, including creating and managing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations. * **Knowledge of DAX, SQL, and M Code**, with the ability to create complex SQL queries and data models. * **Experience with ETL tools**, including SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations. * **Strong data modeling skills**, using star schema or other methodologies. * **Problem-solving skills**, with the ability to analyze large datasets and identify meaningful patterns. * **Expertise with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query**. * **Strong work ethic**, with a focus on timely completion of projects and deadlines. **Preferred Qualifications** While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable: * **Experience with Smartsheets**, a project management and collaboration tool. * **Certifications in data analysis, visualization, or related fields**. * **Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms**, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure. **What We Offer** As an Entry-Level Data Analyst at arenaflex, you'll enjoy a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for career growth and development.
