Develop, validate, and execute complex queries, develop complex reports, and perform complex data analysis to answer business questions for internal clients.
Design and develop packages for internal clients.
Evaluate data needs of assigned projects, assure data integrity and suitability, and determine data series methods, metrics definitions, and assessment methods.
Transform data into actionable insights through reporting solutions.
Troubleshoot technical issues.
Present analysis and reports to internal clients and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
2-4+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
Microsoft Access (manipulating forms, tables, queries, etc.), Excel, Visual Basic for Applications
Reporting platform – SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS)
Development Programming Languages / Knowledge / Experience – ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript
Development Database Languages / Knowledge / Experience – Transact SQL
Database Knowledge / Experience – MS SQL Server
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are preferred but not required:
Experience with reporting platform – WEBI (SAP BI Launchpad)
Knowledge of Aetna systems, databases, and underlying data structures (e.g., ACAS, HMO, HRP, etc.)
Database Knowledge / Experience – Hadoop, Oracle
Development Database Languages / Knowledge / Experience – Oracle PLSQL
Crystal Reporting experience preferred
Required Education
To be considered for this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
