The Role: Entry Level Civil Engineer - Site Design

As an entry-level civil engineer at Bohler, you will play a critical role in our site design team. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and designers to work on challenging land development projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your responsibilities will include:


Designing site plans for some of the most recognizable brand name clients across a wide spectrum of industries
Preparing technical documents and plans, including site designs, grading plans, and stormwater management plans
Conducting site visits and surveys to gather data and monitor project progress
Collaborating with team members to develop and implement project designs
Assisting in the preparation of project reports, proposals, and presentations
Staying up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed as an entry-level civil engineer at Bohler, you will need:


A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field
A strong work ethic and a passion for design and creative problem-solving
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
The ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and software
AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a plus, but not required; we offer training to help you develop your skills


Preferred Qualifications and Skills

We also prefer candidates with:


Relevant internship or co-op experience in civil engineering or a related field
Familiarity with land development projects and site design principles
Experience with other design software, such as MicroStation or Revit
A strong understanding of civil engineering principles, including grading, drainage, and stormwater management
