Job Overview We are in search of a motivated Entry-Level Business Analyst to collaborate with our Acting PMO Director and engage with management at various levels throughout the organization. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects while developing your expertise in reporting, research, and project coordination. The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic setting, showcasing initiative, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to process enhancement. Key Responsibilities Produce precise and comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) that accurately capture the needs of stakeholders and inform project development. Create training materials and facilitate training sessions for both internal teams and external clients as required, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and adoption. Partner with IT teams and Delivery Managers to oversee project releases following testing completion, ensuring timely and successful deployment. Operate effectively within a sprint-based framework and manage shared IT resources across multiple initiatives, promoting collaboration and efficiency. Conduct research, assemble, and present data for marketing and contract management projects, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions. Generate detailed reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) that incorporate advanced computations and data analysis, enabling data-driven decision-making. Utilize SQL for data analysis to support requirement gathering and functional testing, ensuring accurate and efficient data extraction and analysis. Required Skills Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement. Strong organizational, analytical, and administrative capabilities with a keen attention to detail, ensuring accurate and efficient project execution. Self-driven, reliable, and adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with experience in data analysis and reporting. Familiarity with sprint methodologies and project management concepts is advantageous, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new approaches. Qualifications A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (medical, computer science, or similar), with a strong foundation in business analysis and project management. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects and driving business value. Knowledge of the insurance or claims industry is beneficial, with a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges facing clients. Previous exposure to medical claims processing is a significant advantage, with a strong understanding of the industry's unique requirements and challenges.
