About the Role: Certified English Tutor (Remote) We're seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, and passionate online English tutors to join our Preply community. As a Preply tutor, you'll have the freedom to teach English online to students worldwide, on your own schedule and at your own price. Key Responsibilities: Teach English online to Preply students worldwide, tailoring your lessons to their needs and goals. Create your own lesson plans or utilize Preply's curriculum to ensure engaging and effective learning experiences. Set your availability and schedule lessons with students using Preply's integrated calendar. Access training and professional development opportunities through Preply's Tutor Academy and regular webinars to enhance your teaching skills. Provide comprehensive materials and resources to meet students' needs, leveraging your experience and creativity. Track your performance, retrieve payments, and sync your Google Calendar through Preply's platform for tutors. Essential Qualifications: Proficiency in English, with a strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. A University degree or Certificate to teach English (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, etc.), or equivalent qualification in English language teaching. Experience teaching one-on-one classes with proven results, preferably in an online setting. A high-speed internet connection to ensure smooth and uninterrupted online teaching. Energetic, patient, responsible, and cheerful demeanor, with a passion for teaching and learning. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with online language teaching platforms. Knowledge of curriculum design and development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Skills and Competencies: Strong teaching and communication skills. Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs. Patience and empathy in working with students of varying proficiency levels. Technical skills to navigate Preply's platform and tools. Self-motivation and discipline to work independently.
