Role Overview
In this critical role, you will serve as a key member of our End User Computing team, providing expert technical support and services to our clients. As a Desktop Analyst L2, you will be responsible for managing desktop devices, resolving incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our clients' desktop environments, and your passion for technology will drive our continued success.

Key Responsibilities

Manage desktop devices (hardware, software, and connectivity) incidents through to resolution, utilizing your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to deliver timely and effective solutions.
Provide standard and approved hardware and software support and maintenance on desktop devices for their entire lifecycle, including remote management using appropriate tools.
Support, manage, optimize, and maintain the configuration and installation of desktop devices, including patch updates, hardware replacements, and spare management.
Analyze service desk calls and incident data to identify potential user training requirements and automation opportunities, driving continuous improvement and efficiency.
Ensure each desktop device is installed with the appropriate desktop image, and manage desktop devices (hardware and software) incidents through to resolution.
Monitor security profiles and anti-virus software on all desktop devices, taking appropriate action in the event of non-compliance with security requirements to safeguard our clients' systems.
Provide VIP support for desk-side issues per contract, serving as the point of contact at the site for all IT-related issues and ensuring prompt resolution.


Essential Qualifications

Good communication and in-person customer handling skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written Arabic, French, and English.
Knowledge and experience with Windows 7/10 OS, Apple devices (iPhones and iPads), and desktop devices (hardware, software, and connectivity).
Experience with service management tools, such as ServiceNow, and expertise in EUC tools, remote support tools, MS Office, and Outlook.
Familiarity with ITIL processes, including incident, change, problem, and service request management, as well as asset management and spare management.


Preferred Qualifications

Good understanding of Teams, VPN, and mobile device support, with experience in managing and supporting MAC devices and tablets.
Knowledge of AD and smart hands and feet support, with experience in providing technical support and services in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications or training in ITIL, CompTIA, or other relevant technical certifications, demonstrating your commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Technical expertise: Proficiency in desktop devices, operating systems, and software applications, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
