New Era Technology is seeking an experienced Electronic Security Project Manager to join our team on a remote basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing electronic security projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our customers. As an Electronic Security Project Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team that is shaping the future of electronic security. Key Responsibilities Manage assigned electronic security projects from ramp-up to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Possess a working knowledge of intrusion systems, access control systems, burglar alarms, and/or video surveillance systems. Provide technicians, field managers, and contractors with necessary information, supplies, and specifications to complete projects correctly. Maintain accurate and detailed project records, including progress reports, job costing, and customer communication. Negotiate and source vendors with the required skill sets to complete assigned projects. Provide regular project updates, complete weekly progress reports, and update job status in real-time. Monitor project profitability and escalate any issues to the Program Manager or Director of Operations. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular communication and collaboration with internal and external resources. Oversee service orders, material requests, and other associated functions to ensure project targets are met. Lead project kick-off meetings and escalate any issues identified to the Program Manager or Director of Operations. Work closely with the Billing Administrator to ensure timely and accurate billing. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Five years of experience working in a project environment, preferably with overall responsibility. Five years of experience working with intrusion systems, access control systems, and video surveillance systems. A strong working knowledge of electronic security systems and technologies. Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and delivery. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships. The ability to anticipate potential problems and proactively troubleshoot to resolve issues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to define technical problems and draw valid conclusions. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need: The ability to effectively communicate with managers, employees, customers, and vendors. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze ideas and use logic to determine their strengths and weaknesses. The ability to understand new information or materials by studying and working with them. The ability to build collaborative relationships and educate internal and external customers. The ability to diagnostically test all work to ensure correct operation of installations.
