Job Overview
In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work on the design, development, and testing of cabin and network systems for our aircraft. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building accommodations for airplane hardware (LRUs) to be tested in a laboratory environment, with a primary emphasis on electrical accommodations. Your expertise in electrical design, CAD tools, and systems test experience will be essential in driving the success of our projects. Key Responsibilities

Design and build electrical accommodations for airplane hardware (LRUs) to be tested in a laboratory environment
Develop designs from engineering test requirements and test plans
Research test system design requirements and data using aircraft LRU drawings, system schematics, and interface control documents
Develop detailed designs in Catia
Coordinate all activities required for parts purchasing and end-item fabrication
Install, integrate, and checkout test systems into the lab environment
Support ongoing test activities and changes to test capability as necessary
Produce design documentation in drawing form


Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong educational foundation in electrical engineering or a related field, as well as relevant work experience. The following qualifications are required:

Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
2+ years of experience with electrical design
Experience using design CAD tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred qualifications include:

2 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Systems test experience
Experience working with test system design
Experience in mechanical packaging
Experience with Drafting Standards
Experience with airplane system avionics, ICD data, and airplane schematics


Skills and Competencies

Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and practices
Proficiency in CAD tools, such as Catia
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
