Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement daily lesson plans, curriculum designs, and assessments that cater to the diverse needs of our students, ensuring that each child receives a personalized learning experience.
Analyze data to inform instruction, identify areas of improvement, and develop targeted interventions to support students who require extra assistance.
Implement Social Emotional Learning lessons and Restorative Practices to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional growth, empathy, and self-awareness.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver professional development workshops, sharing best practices and expertise to enhance instructional practices across the school.
Participate in weekly meetings and ongoing feedback sessions with the Leadership Team to discuss student progress, instructional strategies, and areas for improvement.
Engage in continuous self-reflection and professional development to deepen your understanding of your own identities, experiences, and biases, and how they impact your practice as an educator.


Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of skills, knowledge, and experience. These include:

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, with a preference for candidates who hold a teaching credential in Special Education or are eligible for a Provisional Internship Permit/Short Term Staff Permit.
Teaching experience working with student demographics similar to those in our schools, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities that come with teaching in diverse environments.
A deep commitment to our mission and vision, with a passion for creating inclusive and equitable learning environments that promote social-emotional growth and academic achievement.
Excellent content knowledge, with the ability to design and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.

Proficiency in Google Suite applications and the ability to adapt to instructional technology for in-person and remote teaching, including Zoom, Nearpod, and other digital tools.
