About Disney Central and the Role

Disney Central is a bustling hub of activity, operating 24/7 to support the needs of our guests. As an eCommerce Specialist - Internet Help Desk, you will be an integral part of our inbound contact center team, providing top-notch service to guests from all over the world. This is an hourly position, with a starting pay rate of $18.90 per hour. You will attend a paid training class, where you will participate in multiple performance assessments to ensure your success in the role.

Key Responsibilities:


Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences: Engage with guests, exploring their desired vacation experiences, and provide recommendations and direction for a magical vacation experience at Walt Disney World.
Build and Manage Relationships: Foster strong relationships with guests and cast members from all lines of business to provide excellent service and support.
Maintain Confidentiality: Handle sensitive guest information with discretion and confidentiality.
Account Management: Assist guests with managing their accounts, including handling issues and providing solutions.
Technical Navigation: Navigate multiple computer applications, including phone, chat, and email, to provide seamless support to guests.
Problem-Solving: Provide guest service when problems arise, and help find solutions to ensure a magical experience.
Metric Expectations: Meet required departmental metric expectations and efficiency goals.
Comprehensive Information: Provide guests with comprehensive information about resorts and dining using software applications.
Training and Compliance: Complete all required company training and compliance courses.
Flexible Scheduling: Be flexible with your work schedule, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.


Basic Qualifications:


Conflict Resolution: Handle conflict resolution and decision-making with integrity and partner resourcing.
Computer Proficiency: Demonstrate computer proficiency within a Microsoft Windows environment.
Communication Skills: Possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Disney Knowledge: Have knowledge of Disney products and services.
Sales and Service Experience: Have sales and service experience in a customer service or contact center environment.
Disney Central Cast Members: For current cast members, no more than one F/O (Falling Behind/OffTrack) in Presenteeism in the last six months, and no more than one reprimand within the last six months.


Preferred Qualifications:


Sales and Closing Skills: Possess strong sales and closing skills, with the ability to overcome objections.
Bilingual: Be bilingual, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests in multiple languages.


Education:


High School Diploma: Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
