Key Responsibilities
As an Early Intervention Behavior Technician with Key Autism Services, you'll play a vital role in delivering ABA therapy to children with autism in the comfort of their own homes. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Providing one-on-one (1:1) in-home ABA therapy sessions to children with autism
Collecting behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions to inform treatment plans
Conducting discrete trials, implementing behavior support plans, and treatment plans under the guidance of a BCBA Supervisor
Collaborating with BCBA Supervisors to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy
Responding to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors in a professional and timely manner
Maintaining a goal-oriented approach and professionalism in all aspects of your work
Arriving on time and being prepared for therapy sessions
Essential Qualifications
To succeed as an Early Intervention Behavior Technician with Key Autism Services, you'll need:
A Bachelor's Degree or be working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) - not required but preferred
1 year of experience working with children in a 1:1 setting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle
The ability to lift up to 35lbs and perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills
Willingness and ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings
Preferred Qualifications
1-year ABA experience
Experience working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
