As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs, working closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support the development of children with ASD. Job Summary We are offering a unique opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Early Intervention Behavior Technician. This role involves working one-on-one with children with ASD, implementing ABA therapy programs, and collecting data to inform treatment plans. As a Behavior Technician, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families, while also developing your skills and knowledge in the field of ABA therapy. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one in-home ABA therapy to children with ASD, under the guidance and supervision of a BCBA Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions to inform treatment plans Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans as directed by a BCBA Work collaboratively with BCBAs, families, and other professionals to support the development of children with ASD Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions, maintaining a high level of professionalism and organization Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) preferred Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting, or equivalent experience in a related field Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and clean driving record Ability to lift up to 35lbs and perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working with children with ASD or other developmental disabilities Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification or willingness to obtain Experience using a Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plan with youth and families Knowledge of ABA principles and practices Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Career Growth Opportunities At Key Autism Services, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our employees.
