As a key member of our onboarding process, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our delivery professionals are activated quickly and efficiently. This is a full-time position that requires a strong desire to help people, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a quiet work environment. **Responsibilities** As a Driver Onboarding Specialist/Data Entry Clerk, your key responsibilities will include: * Reviewing applications, insurance documents, and vehicle registration documents for accuracy and eligibility * Conducting virtual vehicle safety inspections with qualified driver-applicants (training provided) * Communicating with delivery professionals via text, chat, and email about the status of their applications * Ordering driver applicants' pre-employment background checks using company software * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of driver applications and onboarding progress **Requirements** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * Associate's degree or above (preferred, but not required) * 1-2 years of experience in recruiting/onboarding gig app workers or working in data entry, HR, or customer service (preferred, not required) * Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks * Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently * Comfortable with smartphone applications and web-based applications * Self-motivated and able to work in a quiet work environment or our downtown San Diego office * Reliable internet connection and working computer (if working from home) **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, we prefer candidates with: * Experience working with gig economy platforms or similar onboarding processes * Familiarity with data entry software and systems * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities **Work Environment and Culture** As a member of our team, you'll enjoy: * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options and a downtown San Diego office * Collaborative and dynamic work environment with a small team of passionate individuals * Opportunities for professional growth and development in a rapidly evolving industry * Competitive salary and benefits package, including 401k, healthcare, and paid time off **Compensation and Benefits** The salary range for this role is $25,000 to $35,000 annually, based on skills, education, and experience.
