Position Overview As a Document Management Transcriptionist at Primary Health Network, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our document management processes. Your primary responsibilities will include transcribing dictation, scanning and indexing documents, and assisting with various document management projects. If you're a self-motivated individual with excellent transcription skills and a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities Transcribe dictation accurately and efficiently within 72 hours of receipt, including office visits, home visits, letters, reports, and forms. Operate internal scanning equipment and indexing software to ensure seamless document management. Assist with preload data entry, scanning, and manual entry tasks as needed. Support document management projects and contribute to the team's efforts in maintaining organized and easily accessible records. Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A high school diploma or GED, demonstrating a foundational level of education. A minimum of 1 year of work experience in an office setting, utilizing computer equipment and software. A typing speed of 75 or more words per minute, showcasing your proficiency in transcription. Computer proficiency, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly. Good organizational and planning skills, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects. The ability to work collaboratively as a team player, communicating effectively with colleagues. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications can enhance your application: Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in transcription or document management. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and healthcare documentation standards. Previous work with scanning and indexing software, or a willingness to learn.
