Key Responsibilities Operate a Forklift Safely and Efficiently: Transport items throughout the storage facility, ensuring accurate and timely movement of goods. Manage Package Transfer: Load and unload packages onto and off of transport trucks and trailers, adhering to safety protocols and procedures. Prevent Loss or Theft: Follow established procedures to prevent loss or theft of packages, maintaining a secure and safe working environment. Analyze Inventory Trends: Utilize data analysis tools to identify key inventory trends and make data-driven decisions to optimize warehouse operations. Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance on forklifts to ensure safety and reduce repair costs, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and company policies. Collaborate with the Warehouse Team: Work closely with the warehouse team to meet efficiency goals, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive operational excellence. Uphold Safety Protocols: Observe and enforce safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all team members. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent degree is required, demonstrating a foundational level of education. Forklift Certification: A recognized certification that demonstrates your competence as a forklift operator, ensuring you can safely and efficiently operate the equipment. Forklift Safety Knowledge: A thorough understanding of the necessary measures to guarantee the safety of people around the forklift while operating it inside a warehouse. Physical Ability: The capacity to handle and transport cumbersome materials, demonstrating physical stamina and strength.
