As a remote employee, you will be part of a collaborative and supportive environment that values flexibility, work-life balance, and professional growth. **Key Responsibilities** As the Director of Financial Reporting for the APD, you will be responsible for: * Preparing, analyzing, and presenting the APD's financial results to stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements. * Supervising the production of statutory and GAAP reports/statements, guaranteeing their timely and accurate filing. * Providing leadership and oversight to the APD accounting group in Saint Louis and virtually, including audit liaison support and TPA reviews. * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support various APD projects, such as Project Unify. * Developing and implementing financial reporting strategies to drive business growth and improvement. * Identifying and mitigating financial risks, ensuring the integrity of financial data and processes. **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with a CPA and/or MBA highly desired. * FLMI or other professional designation desirable. * 10-15 years of financial/insurance accounting experience, with a strong background in GAAP and statutory accounting. * 8-10 years of managerial experience, with a proven track record of leadership and team management. * Advanced knowledge of MS Office, various software packages, and databases. * Experience in the Vehicle Service Contract business preferred. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate, evaluate, and counsel team members. * Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and drive results through collaboration. **Essential Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you will need to possess: * Advanced skills in self-directing, analytical, problem-solving, written and oral communication, demonstrated leadership and managerial skills, motivating, evaluating and counseling, organized, multi-tasking, and time management with demanding deadlines. * The ability to exercise judgment in planning and independent thinking, with a strong focus on results-driven decision-making. * Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and drive results through collaboration. * Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate, evaluate, and counsel team members. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate financial risks. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At Workwarp, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
