With a diverse range of products and services, we're constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the world of finance. **The Role** As the Director of Data Science – Global Data Strategy Lead, you'll be responsible for leading the strategic evaluation of arenaflex credit metrics, credit provision, and reserve for Senior Management in Risk and Finance. You'll own precise information assets/packages within Risk Finance and become a subject matter expert in the applicable tools, troubleshooting issues, reconciling results, identifying enhancements and automation possibilities, and teaching other customers to drive adoption. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead the strategic evaluation of arenaflex credit metrics, credit provision, and reserve for Senior Management in Risk and Finance * Own precise information assets/packages within Risk Finance, and become a subject matter expert in the applicable tools (troubleshoot issues, reconcile results, identify enhancements and automation possibilities, and teach other customers to drive adoption) * Develop and maintain preferred and ad-hoc reviews used by Risk Finance and/or business partners; provide credit-associated analytical aid * Develop and present key analyses and recommendations to Senior Management * Build and maintain relationships across Risk Finance portfolio groups and with partners in Risk, Controllership, Tech, etc. * Provide decision-aid with a strong emphasis on growing analytics that identify trends and opportunities within the portfolio which can be used to optimize Business and Risk decisions **Required Qualifications** * Advanced experience working with a combination of the following is required: SQL/Hive, Power BI/Tableau, Python/R, VBA, TM1 * Experience working with a sophisticated level of Excel and PowerPoint required * Experience in ML modeling is a plus * Solid economic and analytical skills; ability to work with large units of data and draw significant conclusions, empowering our business partners to make smart, data-driven decisions * Superior attention to detail, alongside exemplary organizational and problem-solving skills * Must be results-driven and proactive with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work within tight timelines * Desire to work on ambiguous tasks, growing clarity while achieving successful and significant outcomes * A strong work-ethic and strong interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to build and maintain relationships and successfully collaborate with team members to achieve goals * Experience working with a sophisticated level of Excel and PowerPoint required * Master's degree in advanced mathematics or statistical discipline required **Considerations for Sponsorship** Depending on factors including business unit requirements, the nature of the position, value, and relevant laws, arenaflex may offer visa sponsorship for certain positions. **Compensation and Benefits** The anticipated salary range for this position is $55.00 to $85.00 hourly + bonus + equity (if relevant) + benefits.
