Here, your work has a lasting effect every day. **About the Team** The Director of Data Analytics role is part of the Store Automation and Development team and will be responsible for developing a framework of KPIs to measure the effectiveness of our initiatives. The Director of Data Analytics will define the metrics and lead the development of the data pipeline and dashboards to disseminate these metrics and report progress towards our objectives to senior leadership on a regular basis. This role will be based in Bentonville, Arkansas and will report to the Senior Vice President, Store Development and Automation. **Key Responsibilities** As a Director of Data Analytics at blithequark, you will be responsible for: * Identifying and categorizing data sources, understanding business requirements, and developing data sets and dashboards to support business decisions * Analyzing business issues within your domain and challenging assumptions to identify underlying drivers; recommending solutions to address business issues and setting key performance indicators (KPIs) based on established progress rules and metrics * Evaluating proposed business cases for initiatives and projects, translating business requirements into solutions, and aligning the team with the business strategy while executing plans * Identifying and recommending the most suitable visualization tools based on the setting and defining application configuration based on client needs; this includes building compelling stories based on the setting, presenting to and influencing various audiences using appropriate data visualization, and adapting communication style based on partners * Providing overall direction by examining business goals and client needs; this includes creating, communicating, building support for, and implementing business processes, plans, and projects; investigating costs and estimates and integrating into strategies; and determining and supporting resource requirements * Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, leading key community engagement and inclusion initiatives, and supporting partners while upholding the organization's principles of integrity and ethics **What You'll Bring** To be successful in this role, you will need to bring: * Proficiency in SQL, Python, and big data tools (e.g., Hive) * Experience with dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker) and workflow management tools (e.g., Wind current) * Ability to communicate complex metrics to senior leaders clearly * Ability to connect the dots between data and its impact on the business * Experience developing new metrics to track business influence * Experience leading a team of analysts * Familiarity with building dashboards and reports that combine data from multiple sources * A foundation or education in statistics * Experience with AI and data science techniques **What We're Looking For** If you have a passion for data-driven decision making and a proven track record of driving business growth through data insights, we'd love to hear from you.
