**Experienced Dental Customer Service Representative – Transforming Healthcare Experiences**

And we do it all with heart, each and every day. **Job Summary** We're seeking an experienced and empathetic Dental Customer Service Representative to join our team at blithequark. As the face of our organization, you will impact members' service experiences by manner of how you handle customer service inquiries and problems via telephone. You will engage, consult, and educate members based on their unique needs, preferences, and understanding of our plans, tools, and resources to guide them along a clear path to care. **Responsibilities** - Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues based on phone calls from members, providers, and plan sponsors. - Triages resulting rework to appropriate staff. - Documents and tracks contacts with members, providers, and plan sponsors. - Guides members through their plan of benefits, blithequark policy, and procedures, as well as having knowledge of resources to comply with regulatory guidelines. - Creates an emotional connection with our members by understanding and engaging the member to the fullest to champion for their best health. - Takes accountability to fully understand the member's needs by building a trusting and caring relationship with the member. - Anticipates customer needs and provides related information to answer unasked questions. - Uses customer service threshold framework to make financial decisions to resolve member issues. - Explains member's rights and responsibilities in accordance with contract. - Educates providers on our self-service options. - Advocates for the member to take them out of the middle, resolving billing conflicts. **Training and Work Schedule** - Training Schedule: 12-13 weeks; 9:30am to 6pm EST Mon - Fri - Permanent Work Schedule (Post training): 9:30am to 6pm EST Mon - Fri **Requirements** - Customer Service experience in a transaction-based environment such as a call center or retail location, demonstrating ability to be empathetic and compassionate. - Experience in a production environment. - High School Diploma or Equivalent. **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience in a similar role, preferably in the healthcare industry. - Strong communication and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards. - Familiarity with customer service software and systems. **Skills and Competencies** - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a team environment and provide exceptional customer service. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. - Familiarity with customer service software and systems. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we believe in investing in our colleagues' growth and development. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
