About the Role As a Delivery Support Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of medications, equipment, and supplies to our customers. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that blends pharmacy operations with logistics and customer service. You'll be an integral part of our team, working closely with pharmacists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities Coordinate workflow to assist in preparing and processing medications to fill patient prescriptions accurately and promptly. Follow policy and procedure for product compounding, assembly of clinical products, and medication preparation. Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products, and supplies into long-term care facilities or patient homes. Load and organize products and materials for delivery into the delivery vehicle, following safety guidelines. Complete delivery logs and submit supporting documentation. Ensure safe operations of all delivery vehicles and compliance with all government laws and regulations. Operate devices and applications for route navigation. Demonstrate professional and ethical standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and ensuring regulatory compliance. Manage any other duties as assigned. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A high school diploma or equivalent. Basic awareness of problem-solving and decision-making skills. 0-2 years of work experience in a related field (pharmacy, healthcare, or logistics). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications can enhance your candidacy: Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a related healthcare role. Familiarity with pharmacy software and operations. Certification as a pharmacy technician (CPhT). Experience with delivery or logistics operations. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need to possess: Strong organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures.
