Key Responsibilities Ensure the functionality and usability of our internal software applications, diagnosing and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner. Support cloud-based applications and work with cloud DB technologies such as Snowflake, leveraging your expertise to drive innovation and improvement. Develop and implement scripts using Python/PowerShell for ETL processes, automating tasks and enhancing data management. Perform routine operational tasks, troubleshoot errors, and initiate corrective and preventive actions as necessary to maintain optimal system performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Document issues and resolutions, providing valuable insights and knowledge sharing across the team. Essential Qualifications A minimum of 7 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Servers, with a deep understanding of database administration and management. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in IT and computer systems. Proven experience in database high availability and disaster recovery strategies, ensuring business continuity and minimizing downtime. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and Git, facilitating streamlined development and deployment processes. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, promoting iterative and adaptive project management. Preferred Qualifications and Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to document issues and resolutions, and communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Effective verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate across different organizational levels and cultures. Excellent interpersonal skills for teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment. Ability to work independently or as part of a cross-cultural team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a remote work setting. Experience with cloud-based technologies and platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure, is highly desirable.
