Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Visualization Engineer to join our Development and Enterprise Tools group within the Finance DSE association. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for building data-driven web applications that inform audiences throughout the organization about business performance and growth initiatives. Your expertise in data visualization, front-end development, and collaboration will be essential in creating intuitive UIs, uniting multiple data sources, and presenting valuable insights to drive business decisions. Key Responsibilities Design and develop web applications that provide actionable insights into business performance and growth drivers, leveraging data visualization best practices and front-end expertise. Collaborate with data teams and business stakeholders to integrate multiple data sources and present comprehensive, data-driven stories that inform business decisions. Develop and implement activities as part of the broader portfolio of work delivered by DSE teams and cross-functional partners. Work closely with colleagues in Data Science and Engineering, as well as partners at all levels and across our global locations (Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa). Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Experience building web applications and interactive visualizations that focus on data explanation and analysis, with expertise in front-end JavaScript and Node.js. Familiarity with visualization libraries, as well as a component framework like React or Vue. Knowledge of design principles related to layout structures, typography, and color usage, with the ability to design clear, readable diagrams. Experience designing, building, and iterating on interfaces, with a strong understanding of the entire user experience, as well as individual components. Ability to work with data from various sources, including API endpoints and social databases.
