The Advertising Platforms Data Insights team at arenaflex is seeking a talented Machine Learning Data Scientist to join our Product and Client Assessment Group. Our team is passionate about fostering the next generation of analytical solutions that power Decisions, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Planning teams across the organization.
In this role, you will work as a critical member of a data-driven team to drive the research, evaluation, development, implementation, and assessment of analytical models that are essential for maintaining our business success. You will transform the massive amounts of data generated by user searches, app content, and App Store interactions into business insights that enhance the end-user experience while driving discovery and efficiency for app developers.
What You'll Do
As a Data Scientist on our team, you will be responsible for turning complex data into actionable business insights that directly impact our advertising products and user experience. Your work will span across multiple domains, requiring you to collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, marketing professionals, and executive leadership.
Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze large-scale clickstream data, user behavior patterns, and advertising performance metrics to uncover trends and opportunities for improvement
Machine Learning Model Development: Build and deploy machine learning models to improve ad targeting, user matching, and content recommendations
A/B Testing & Experimentation: Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests and controlled experiments to measure the impact of new features and algorithms
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions
Dashboard & Reporting: Create and maintain insightful reporting dashboards that drive strategic decision-making
Data Pipeline Optimization: Work with data engineers to ensure efficient data pipelines and warehouse architecture
Business Impact Translation: Communicate complex technical findings in clear, compelling ways to influence product strategy and roadmaps

Hands-on experience working with clickstream data and A/B experimentation frameworks
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL programming
Experience with modern data technologies such as AWS, Snowflake, Spark, and Tableau
Solid foundation in quantitative analysis including regression, classification, clustering, and time-series analysis
Practical knowledge in designing and executing experiments on large-scale datasets
Experience with data modeling and data warehousing principles
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
Experience in the digital advertising technology space
Knowledge of recommendation systems and personalization algorithms
Familiarity with mobile app ecosystems and app store dynamics
Experience with big data processing frameworks beyond Spark
Understanding of privacy-preserving techniques in data analysis
