Job Summary We are looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist to work on our AIOps platform, which aims to improve the resilience and efficiency of our IT operations. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with experts and colleagues to design, develop, and scale AI and machine learning solutions that predict and prevent issues before they occur. Your expertise in AI, machine learning, and data analysis will be instrumental in driving business outcomes and improving the overall customer experience. Key Responsibilities * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement AI and machine learning solutions that improve the resilience and efficiency of our IT operations * Design and develop predictive models using AI, deep learning, and other advanced techniques to forecast and prevent issues * Work with large datasets to extract insights and identify trends that inform business decisions * Develop and maintain data pipelines to support the AIOps platform, including data extraction, processing, and visualization * Collaborate with engineers and developers to integrate AI and machine learning solutions into our production environment * Conduct thorough testing and validation of AI and machine learning models to ensure accuracy and reliability * Document and communicate technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders * Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science to continuously improve our solutions Essential Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering * 2+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, or data science, with a focus on predictive modeling and data analysis * Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL * Experience working with large datasets and data pipelines * Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, feature extraction, and model evaluation * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree or Ph.D. in a quantitative field * Experience working with cloud-based platforms, such as GCP or AWS * Experience developing and deploying AI and machine learning models in production environments * Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques * Experience working with unstructured data sources and designing new data pipelines * Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify insights Skills and Competencies * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify insights * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams * Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, feature extraction, and model evaluation * Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL * Experience working with large datasets and data pipelines * Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure accuracy and reliability in AI and machine learning models Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Aetna, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
