Job Description
As a Remote Data Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for enabling the People Systems Team by delivering high-quality data solutions and analytics through preparation, maintenance, communication, and reporting. Your expertise will help drive business strategy and optimization by identifying and communicating trends to stakeholders. You will collaborate with Product Managers and Subject Matter Experts to enhance the Workday tool, encompassing various modules such as HCM, compensation, payroll, recruiting, absence, and knowledge management.
Key Responsibilities
Intake file requests and understand specific reporting requirements, including date range, data fields, and end-user purpose
Interpret and reconcile data discrepancies to ensure accurate reporting data
Create custom data evaluations for use by human utility teams and various departments
Partner with reporting customers to refine evaluations and ensure their needs are met
Confer with stakeholders to ensure the successful functioning of newly finished systems or processes
Maintain data integrity by efficiently interpreting variances and outliers for Leadership
Ensure proper data protection and privacy guidelines are applied
Resolve escalated issues through research and analysis of discrepancies
Blend and automate data to enhance reporting efficiency
Perform special activity duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
Knowledge of HR processes, including recruitment, selection, training, compensation, and benefits
Skilled in data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making
Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to various stakeholders
Proficiency in data-oriented programming languages and visualization software
Strong judgment and reasoning skills to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of possible solutions
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, having experience in:
Relevant data/analytical/problem-solving roles will be highly regarded
Working with HR systems, such as Workday, will be an added advantage
