About the Role: Analyst - Data Protection & Privacy We're seeking an experienced Data Protection & Privacy Analyst to join our Digital Technology team, which is dedicated to building the best airline in the history of aviation through cutting-edge technology solutions, data analytics, and digital innovation. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the protection and privacy of our data, both locally and globally. Key Responsibilities Analyze and implement Data Protection & Privacy requirements and policies across local, domestic, and international domains. Communicate effectively with all levels of management, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills, approachability, and the ability to listen and articulate complex information to various audiences. Perform in dynamic environments with strict deadlines, handling multiple tasks concurrently and demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Interpret non-compliance issues to determine their impact on risk levels and the overall effectiveness of our cybersecurity program. Utilize knowledge of cybersecurity, information technology, and computer science to drive innovative solutions and ensure data protection. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. At least 3+ years of experience in a STEM-associated field, with a strong understanding of Data Protection & Privacy principles. The ability to work legally in the United States without sponsorship. Reliable and punctual attendance, as this is a critical aspect of the role. Successful completion of the interview process to meet the job's qualifications. Preferred Qualifications To stand out, you will ideally have: CISA or Security+ certifications. Knowledge of computer networking principles, protocols, and network security. Understanding of security engineering and architecture principles, as well as cryptography and cryptographic key control principles.
