Whether you're just starting your career or looking for a new challenge, we offer a unique opportunity to make a real impact in the aviation industry. **Job Responsibilities** As a Data Protection & Privacy Analyst at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: * Analyzing and interpreting data protection and privacy requirements and policies, both locally and globally * Developing and implementing data protection and privacy solutions to meet the evolving needs of our business * Collaborating with our Digital Technology team to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge solutions * Providing expert advice and guidance on data protection and privacy matters to stakeholders across the organization * Conducting risk assessments and identifying areas for improvement in our data protection and privacy practices * Developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and guidelines related to data protection and privacy * Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in data protection and privacy, including regulatory changes and industry best practices **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or Computer Science * At least 3 years of experience in a STEM-related field, with a strong focus on data protection and privacy * A deep understanding of data protection and privacy requirements and policies, both locally and globally * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively * Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: * CISA certification * Knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols, and network security * Knowledge of safety engineering and architecture principles * Knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic key control principles * Experience with data protection and privacy vendors, tools, and products * Ability to interpret noncompliance and determine its impact on risk and/or overall effectiveness of the organization's cybersecurity program **Work Environment and Culture** As a remote, online opportunity, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere, at any time.
