**Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Sports Statistics and Data Analysis**

We're committed to innovation, excellence, and teamwork, and we're looking for like-minded individuals to join our team. **Job Summary** As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for entering and maintaining accurate sports data on our platforms. You will work closely with our production team to ensure that data is delivered on time and meets our high standards of quality. This is a part-time position that requires flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. **Key Responsibilities** * Enter and maintain accurate sports data on our platforms, including scores, schedules, standings, and statistics * Work with automated data feeds and manual data entry to ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and insightful sports data * Collaborate with our production team to ensure that data is delivered on time and meets our high standards of quality * Create and maintain a working knowledge of our data's role in fueling ESPN's digital products and television productions * Review the results of your own work and that of others, performing with a consistently high level of care * Contribute to the creation, tasks, and drives across the newsroom, and assist newsroom leaders who are coordinating full- and part-time staff * Anticipate potential issues, both daily and long-term, and propose possible solutions * Communicate quickly and clearly with partners on these issues * Play an active role in working with partners to create or refine production processes * Participate in team and division meetings * Seek and respond to feedback on private performance * Stay informed about current office policies and procedures **Required Capabilities** * Working knowledge of teams, players, and the rules of various sports * Full-time availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays * Ability to quickly learn production processes that produce or maintain sports data that drives ESPN's digital and television products * Capacity to achieve a high level of content precision in time-sensitive production circumstances * Ability to communicate confidently – verbally and in writing – to production managers and colleagues about production issues and opportunities, often in the midst of a busy newsroom **Preferred Capabilities** * 1+ years of experience in sports or data analysis, ideally in media * Knowledge of how sports data is used in media and for research purposes * Working knowledge of ESPN products and productions * Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office tools * Experience leading or training a team * Ability to speak and write Spanish * Experience using social media in a business or news setting **Required Education** * High school diploma or equivalent **Preferred Education** * Bachelor's degree or equivalent * Additional Details: (e.g., actual requirements, shifts, etc.) * Position fills in for late shifts (only), weekends, and holidays **What We Offer** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work with a leading sports media organization * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Professional development and growth opportunities * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for sports and data analysis, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
