About the Role As a Data Entry Specialist in our Pharmacy Technician role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of patient and drug information, prescriptions, and other pharmacy-related tasks. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you'll assist in the practice of pharmacy, adhering to state, federal, and company policies. Key Responsibilities Utilize pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information and process prescriptions accurately. Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining workflow, ensuring seamless operations. Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with patients, and resolving issues to ensure a positive experience. Model and share customer service best practices with team members to maintain a high level of service. Develop strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, and providing personalized support. Perform various operational tasks, including managing cash registers, handling phone calls, and processing claims. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked pharmacy department, adhering to company standards. Support the pharmacy team in inventory management activities, including ordering, unpacking, and storing prescription medications. Assist pharmacists in administering medical services, such as collecting and labeling blood/urine samples. Comply with company policies and procedures, maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). A high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly preferred: Six months of experience in a retail environment. Previous work experience with blithequark. Strong math skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications. Proficient computer skills, including data entry and pharmacy management systems. Knowledge of store inventory management. Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need to possess: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service skills, with a focus on providing a positive experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple responsibilities.
