**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our IT Operations Research – Data Science team. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for querying carrier data from various sources, performing exploratory data analysis, and building models to predict behaviors and suggest airline activities. You will work independently, but be willing to seek guidance and clarify pressing issues. This is a full-time, 8-hour per day position, with the possibility of remote work.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Query carrier data from various sources and perform exploratory data analysis
* Build models to predict behaviors and suggest airline activities using Python scripts
* Work independently, but be willing to seek guidance and clarify pressing issues
* Collaborate with the Operations Research team to build models that drive business decisions
* Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including Operations Research and Business leaders
* Develop and maintain data visualizations to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Information Analysis/Operations Research, Software Engineering, Designing, or a related field
* 3.0 GPA or higher and completion of at least 2 years in a school program
* Experience with Python and SQL
* Strong logical, leadership, written, and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work from the Atlanta or MSP office (as determined after the interview)
* Most teams work a hybrid work plan with management approval
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Ability to process large amounts of data and quickly make sense of what can be gained from the information and how it can support direction
* Interest in learning administration methods and best practices in critical thinking and compromise to empower advancement and progress on hard to tackle difficulties of our clients
* Experience with AWS
* Experience creating AI models
