Job Overview As a Data Entry Agent at blithequark, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of our data. Your primary responsibilities will include entering, updating, and maintaining data in our systems, as well as verifying and ensuring the accuracy of data entry to prevent errors. Key Responsibilities Input data accurately into blithequark databases, spreadsheets, or other systems, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to company policies and procedures. Verify and ensure the accuracy of data entry to prevent errors, and perform data cleanup and validation to improve data quality. Organize and maintain files and records, both digital and physical, to ensure easy access and retrieval of information. Review and update existing data to ensure consistency and correctness, and generate reports, summaries, and other documents from inputted data as needed. Process forms, applications, and other documents as required, and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and data integrity. Adhere to blithequark policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines, handling sensitive information securely and with discretion. Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, and maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service in all interactions. Required Skills and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred), with a strong foundation in administrative principles and practices. Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar administrative role, with a demonstrated ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy (preferably 45-50 WPM or higher), and proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word) or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets). Basic knowledge of database management and data entry systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and technologies. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with specific data entry software or tools (e.g., QuickBooks, CRM systems), with the ability to apply this knowledge to improve data management processes. Previous experience in a similar industry or role (e.g., healthcare, finance, logistics), with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this field. Certifications or training in data entry, administrative assistance, or a related field, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. Our part-time positions vary based on availability, typically involving 20-25 hours per week.
