We are now seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our team, focusing on managing import customer service and maintaining accurate data entry processes within our Cargowise system. Job Overview This critical role is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate entry of data into our Cargowise system, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving issues promptly. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our logistics operations, contributing to the implementation of Cargowise and the improvement of our overall services. Key Responsibilities Ensure manual data entry into the Cargowise system is executed accurately and efficiently, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality Provide excellent customer service to import clients, responding to their inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Monitor customer accounts, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate, and take appropriate actions based on customer account status Contribute to the implementation of Cargowise, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting solutions to enhance our logistics operations Maintain comprehensive records of customer credit applications, ensuring they are processed efficiently and in accordance with company policies Support the team in managing import containers, ensuring their proper handling and storage in our logistics operations Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals, sharing knowledge and best practices to continuously improve our services Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: A minimum of 1 year of experience working within a logistics or similar industry, with a strong understanding of import operations and customer service principles Proven experience in a data entry role, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Proficiency in using Cargowise software, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technologies Strong data entry skills, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues A high level of organization, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize deadlines Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced working environment, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and growth Nice-to-Haves While not essential, the following skills and experience would be highly desirable: Experience working in a team-oriented environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork Knowledge of logistics operations, including import and export procedures, customs regulations, and transportation management Proficiency in other software systems, such as transportation management systems or warehouse management systems A certification in logistics or a related field, such as a Certified Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) or a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) What We Offer At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with a comprehensive range of benefits, including: Medical insurance, with a range of options to suit your needs and budget Vision insurance, to help you maintain your eye health and well-being Dental insurance, with coverage for routine check-ups, fillings, and other dental procedures Life insurance, to provide financial protection for you and your loved ones Disability insurance, to support you in the event of illness or injury A 401(k) plan, to help you save for your retirement and achieve your long-term financial goals Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
